Employment Laws: 2024 Changes

12/22/2023 – Doctors of optometry in California will have new employment-related laws to comply with in 2024, including one that increases California Paid Sick Leave from the current three days to five days, one that places new requirements on employers with noncompete agreements, and another that prohibits discrimination against employees who use cannabis off the job.
